This reserve is Kenya’s premier reserve and is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife with the wildebeest migration mainly in July through to October being such a highlight. This movement draws in the carnivores and awakens the crocodiles of the Mara River as they now abundant supply of food. The action is nothing but exhilarating. The Mara however offers rewarding safari moments all year round. It is possible to spot the big five of elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard in one game drive. The Mara has excellent accommodation facilities in the park, near the park gates and in the surrounding wildlife conservancies.

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best known and most popular reserves in the whole of Africa wildebeest migration you could see thousands of animals, at other times there are still hundreds. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle. Also regularly seen are leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes.
